Massage Questions and AnswersQ. Isn't this type of technique old? A. Partially, yes; yet it has been lost through time and only recently rediscovered. Now we know that the techniques have been proven and tested. The results speak for themselves. Q. Is it easy to do and understand? A. It is easy to understand. To do? Many people can do deep muscle work, but cannot achieve the results we do. No one else in the United States is performing these unique techniques and achieving these results. We are changing the muscle tissue at a cellular level. Q. What type of injuries do you have success with? A. Chronic injuries, as well as new injuries, can be corrected in a relatively short amount of time. In many cases, the athlete can perform at a better level than prior to the injury. Q. Injury types? A. Clients typically recover quickly from injuries to the low back, hamstring tightness or tears, groin pulls, plantar fasciitis and trauma to the quadriceps. Q. When will the client feel the difference? A. The client should feel a difference immediately. Common after-effects are a looser, lighter feeling, increases in range of motion and balance, and decreased or even absence of pain. Q. When will the client see a significant change? A. The client should feel a change after each session leading up to the 10th visit (10 hours), though every person is different. After that, changes are typically substantial and long-lasting. Q. Aren't most injuries handled by a quality training staff using physical therapy, steam, ice, heat and rest? A. Though athletic training staffs are or may be highly educated, their traditional methods (though somewhat successful) have their limitations because of issues with workload and time allotment.
